Rare Vintage Mid Century 8.25” Murano Millefiori “Thousand Flowers” Hand Blown Glass Bottle with Egg Shaped 4” Stopper Made In Italy - Satin Acid Washed.
Measures 8.25” tall with the stopper, the stopper is 4” in length, and 6” tall without the stopper. This is a large 100% millefiori piece. In excellent vintage shape with no chips or cracks. Stunning in person.
Millefiori glass is a decorative glass featuring a distinctive flower-like pattern. The technique involves fusing colored glass rods, slicing them into disks, and applying them to hot glass to create a brilliantly colored piece of glassware. This piece was then acid washed for a satin texture.
